Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer
Dato’ Selvam is the Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer of Admiral Energy. Responsible for all financial and investor relations functions, he provides day-to-day leadership and management across all of Admiral Energy’s businesses. His chief areas of focus are the firm’s growth strategies, processes and fostering a success-oriented environment inside the firm.
Based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, he has more than 22 years of experience with a successful track record of leading and managing operations and finance. His ownership and management of specific departments and functions include accounting, finance, human resources, strategic planning, business process improvement, information technology, and treasury.
Dato’ Selvam is an Oil and Gas services veteran with more than 20 years of experience in the field of Inspection Services currently servicing the largest O&G production, processing and refining assets in Malaysia. His other business interests include strategic ventures into civil works, F&B, mechanical equipment maintenance, waste management and training.
Dato’ Selvam holds an MBA from Asia e-University and is currently the Young Entrepreneurs Chairman (since 2018) and Council Member for Kuala Lumpur & Putrajaya Indian Chambers of Commerce (KLPICC) at the Malaysian Associated Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (MAICCI). His contributions to the enhancement of economic opportunities for the youth community at national level was recognized when he was selected to be part of the working committee for National Economy Forum 2019 (NEF) under National Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia (NCCIM).
Justin Nga
Chief Operating Officer and Chief Sustainability Officer
Justin Nga is the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Sustainability Officer of Admiral Energy. In his dual roles, Justin is responsible for leading operational execution, people capability and customer experience imperatives that will fuel business growth across all divisions. He has a strong track record of business leadership within the Oil and Gas and Sustainability sectors and has expertise driving results at the powerful intersection of talent, culture, finance, and strategy. He also oversees business transformation, operations, human resources, and communications.
Based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, he has more than 23 years of experience with a successful track record of leading and managing operations and international sales. Justin’s diverse experience include being the Senior VP Business Development for a Malaysian Oilfield Services Public listed company and ASEAN Head of Division for one of the world’s leading certification bodies. His international experience at APAC level brings significant value to the firm as he leads all strategic new ventures. He was previously the Head of Sustainability for the Malaysia operations of one of the world’s oldest certification bodies, establishing its Assurance services. He is passionate on creating value with sustainability.
Justin holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Kingston University, UK and an MBA from Charles Sturt University, Australia. He is also an Associate Director for the O&G Segment at United Nations Global Compact Malaysia Chapter, providing industry expertise on decarbonization initiatives.
